We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hospital Receptionist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience at our hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the hospital’s front desk operations, including answering phones, directing calls, and providing information.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate and timely entries in the hospital management system.
- Handle patient registration, including verifying and updating personal and insurance information.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments when necessary.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Coordinate with medical staff to manage patient flow and reduce waiting times.
- Respond to patient and visitor inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with hospital management systems.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
